Originalità o morte

Viviamo in tempi di riciclaggio culturale. Tutto quello che di sensato poteva esser detto, scritto, cantato è stato detto, scritto, cantato, financo dipinto, probabilmente molto tempo fa, sicuramente con parole migliori delle nostre. Non volendo passare dieci anni a spremersi le meningi alla ricerca di un pensiero originale l'autore moderno si consola ripercorrendo strade già battute cercando di impreziosirle col proprio 'punto di vista'. Ma c'è un'alternativa. Se è vero che tutto quel di sensato che poteva esser espresso già è stato realizzato, è pur vero che il reame dell'insensato offre ancora vasti panorami inesplorati. Ed è per questo che scrivo cose come:
"Vostrogàmati la scoprendita a Buccinasco! Solo costrovolenti guazz..."
O anche:
"Gargantula Za-Bum Za-Bum! Ora mi vedi, ora non mi vedi più!"
Che per di più, visti qui, fuori dal contesto (clicca qui per il contesto), paiono ancora più assurdi.
Ma che ve lo dico a fare?
Ed anche questo non è un pensiero affatto originale.

Beirut in Brazil

So, there's this band called Beirut. They're based in France, the leader in from US and their music has influences from the balkans.

So far, so good.
The amazing thing is that some people in Brazil thought it would be cool if their music was played more, maybe in the streets and they organized this thing that they call Beirutando, in which bands play songs from Beirut outdoors around the country.
And they made a youtube channel for everyone to see:

I don't know. There is something about a less known band based in Europe that makes a connection with Brazil and all that comes from it that I feel is touching. The world is smaller, people are closer and a voice can be heard anywhere if it says something different. And somebody will listen. At least in Brazil.

A first post about tennis:

As it happens i am collaborating with ubitennis lately. It's a website about... tennis (of course!), and it is owned by Ubaldo Scanagatta, one of the most important journalists specialized in tennis in Italy. So I'm quite thankful for the opportunity to write about my (only) favourite sport.
And, as it happens, I have a blog now. So why not use it to post my articles? Yeah! Easy!
They're in italian (as you might have imagined), so if you don't know the language don't bother clicking... or click and translate with babelfish, it could turn out to be a pretty funny experience.
Anyway... here are my first articles:

So I got a blog... what for? In fact I won't use it to post my everyday life and I won't use it to link funny things that i find on the net. So?
Well... I'll think about something. The idea is to post comments and reflections on different subjects... possibly in video... but we will see. In the meantime if you have any advice on how to succesfully run a blog, be my guest (No! No smiley faces on this blog, sorry!)...
